Mopping robots don't vacuum, but instead provide superb mopping function, putting pressure against the floor with mopping pads to eliminate stuck-on stains and debris. 2 in 1 robots offer both vacuuming and mopping functions.
Both mopping and 2 in 1 vacuums typically use only water with which to mop, but some of them can also take detergent. Most of the time, you will need to change the mop head on these types of vacuums, but occasionally they are self-cleaning.
